Project Fact Sheet

Switch Rooms - Fabricated Steel Structures

Neumann Contractors were engaged as the Steel Fabrication contractor to carry out the fabrication and coating of two Switch Room structures fabricated out of steel.

The switch room was a challenging project as the overall dimension of the first Switch Room being 16 m long x 4.7 m wide x 3.6 m high and the second Switch Room being 24 m long x 6.7 m wide x 3.2 m high needed to be fabricated, coated and transported in one piece.

The primary function of an electrical switchroom is to protect electrical switchgear and associated equipment from the surrounding environments.

Neumann Fabrication has operated its steel fabrication facility at Currumbin, Gold Coast, for over 40 years and, over that time, has built a quality reputation.

We specialise in high-quality complex steel fabrications and installation.

Our management and technical team have been with the company for many years. This continuity and experience enable us to consistently deliver quality steel fabrication projects on time and within budget. Proven systems and the ability of our business to adapt and innovate are key strengths and points of difference.
