Fabrication Works Well Under Way!
Neumann Fabrication is well under way with the steel fabrication of the Veloway steel fabricated bridge structure and have delivered their first load to the galvanisers.
Donmay Transport is chosen as our preferred transporter for the oversized loads and Fero Galv (a divison of Fero Group) is our preferred galvaniser for the galvanising to AS4680 & MRTS78 of the large bridge structure sections and the galvanising process will be done as a double dip.
Fero Galv’s state-of-the-art galvanising plant in Queensland is the largest hot-dip galvanising facility in Australia and represents a level of investment and commitment to the industry not previously seen in Australia. Their zinc bath is 13m long, 1.8m wide and 3m deep and are able to cope with the large steel bridge components.
